It’s here! The brand new PAIGE x Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Spring 2017 Campaign! The campaign was just unveiled last week, showcasing Rosie in 4 picturesque shots which show off some amazing pieces. It was shot at the famed Philip Dixon house in Venice Beach, inspired by their recent travels. Following on from the success of Rosie’s and Paige Adams-Geller’s past co-art directed campaigns, the duo worked together again to bring the brand’s Spring 17 collection to life.
The designer and supermodel turned to Rosie’s go-to stylist, Cher Coulter, to help curate the looks and showcase the lifestyle pieces by PAIGE. The looks ranged from a rayon ruffle top and leather cropped flares to vintage-inspired denim and a tencel jumpsuit. Adams-Geller and Huntington-Whiteley then turned to photographer Naj Jamai for the fifth time to capture Rosie’s natural sense of style and the essence of the PAIGE brand. The creative team was rounded out with hairstylist, Christian Wood and make-up artist, Kate Lee.
You can check out the campaign in full at Paige.com and you can also shop the collection by clicking here. Otherwise the imagery is here in this post and you can really get a sense of the direction they took it in. To me, Paige and Rosie have brought to life a Californian, outdoors vibe, which is laid back and easy, but completely sophisticated and styled, which is exactly what Paige herself is about. What do you think of the PAIGE x Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Spring 2017 Campaign?
Model, Bella Hadid, left The Bowery Hotel in New York City to head out for a night on the town with some friends. If the weather in NY right now is anything like it is here in the UK, she must have been frozen! Bella wore a balconette style Denim Dress by Dior for her evening out. She layered a black furry shrug over shoulders and finished it off with some black sandals.
Denim dresses have been popular for a while, but we don’t see them out all that often unless it’s the Summertime. I think this Dior Denim Dress makes a lovely change from the usual button up ones as it has embellished straps. It reminds me of a more dressed up version of the popular Madewell button up dress. Now that Spring will soon be upon us, I can’t wait to see what other denim dresses we see! Hopefully some more Dior versions might get spotted, or maybe Bella might wear this one again!
Actress Emma Roberts parked her car in Los Angeles, California before heading off to do some shopping and run a few errands. There’s been talk of whether or not she’s engaged as sometimes she’s seen with her ring and sometimes she isn’t. I don’t think that means anything though, there’s always reasons for not having it on, especially if it’s bigger.
Emma wore a pair of the Citizens of Humanity Rocket High Rise Skinny Crop Jeans in Weekender for the day. She styled them with a striped t-shirt, a grey coat, and some red ankle boots. These jeans actually suit her 5ft 2 inch frame really well. They have a 26 inch inseam, which almost hits full length on Emma, all while making her legs look incredibly long! I love that illusion!
The Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans are one of my favourite cuts! They have been for quite some time and I still adore my pair in Aura (here), but I’m hoping they bring out a lot more washes for the summertime. This Weekender wash has a raw/undone hem and a darker, mid blue wash, but they run a lot smaller than my other pairs, if you’re wondering about fit as I can’t fit mine very well. I’m pretty sure we will be seeing Emma in these Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans again soon though, they look like her new go to pair!
Supermodel of 2016, Gigi Hadid, returned home to her apartment after a long day of shooting in New York City a couple of weeks ago. I did always used to wonder why celebrities wore sunglasses at night when I was younger, but I found out ages ago it’s because of the paparazzi flashes in their eyes.
Anyway, for her outfit, Gigi wore a pair of Sandro Miren Stepped Hem Straight Jeans with a furry jacket, some orange low tops that matched her sunglasses, a white vest top, and a white bag. Whenever I look at this outfit, it reminds me so much of something straight out of the 70’s! I love the combination of the colours and the fits, and with the vintage inspiration from the Sandro Miren Jeans, it’s ideal!
Quite a few brands are bringing out vintage inspired denim at the moment, and I don’t just mean RE/DONE with their Levi’s Jeans. The trends that we used to see with the front seams, chunky zippers, thick cuffs, no waistband etc are all combing back and it’s really interesting to see the modern twist on them. I think Sandro did a good job with this pair as I like the stepped hem and the seams up the back too. Do you like them?
Actress and fashion blogger, Jamie Chung, got snapped while doing some shopping in Beverly Hills, California a few days ago. She smiled to the paps as she made her way past them after picking up a few children’s things from Eggy.
Jamie wore a pair of the GRLFRND Petite Karolina High Rise Skinny Jeans in A Little More Love for her outfit. She styled them with a black top, a fuzzy ombre coat, and some studded loafers. Since the GRLFRND brand launched last year, we have been seeing quite a few celebrities out in their jeans lately, they seem to be getting popular.
As well as Jamie Chung, we have seen Kendall Jenner, Chanel Iman, and a couple of others out in this exact pair of GRLFRND Karolina jeans. As you know, I reviewed a pair of GRLFRND Jeans myself last year and fell in love with the brand, but for those of you wanting to know more, you can check out our exclusive interview with them here. What do you think of Jamie Chung in her GRLFRND Petite Karolina Jeans?
TV star, Kourtney Kardashian, took her son Mason to art class in Calabasas, California last week while he carried a toy gun. She stopped to chat to some people before heading into the building, trying to avoid the paparazzi.
Kourtney wore a ripped and shredded pair of RE/DONE Levi’s High Rise Straight Cuffed Jeans for the day, styling them with a half tucked in white t-shirt, some white ankle boots, and a light pink duster coat over the top. All the pastel tones here work so harmoniously together and I love the white on white with the tee and boots.
One trend I have been noticing over the past couple of months with RE/DONE Levi’s is that they are now featuring the thick cuffed hemline, called the High Rise Straight Cuffed Jeans. I’ve seen this on quite a few celebrities so far and it seems to be trending now, it’s not just a coincidence or personal preference, which I initially thought it was given past experience with Sarah Jessica Parker. What’s your opinion on a cuff this wide? Do you like it on Kourtney Kardashian?
The ever gorgeous Hilary Duff got snapped walking down the streets of Studio City, California while running some errands. She stopped to feed a parking meter, chatted to some people in the street, and picked up some things in a shop before heading back to her car.
I have to say this first – how amazing is Hilary’s outfit here? I saw it yesterday morning and went ‘wow’ as I scrolled through the photos. She chose to wear a raw hem, washed black denim mini skirt which she styled with a cream sweater and some mid brown over the knee boots. I think the added touch of the wool scarf really makes this outfit look fashionable. Mini skirts and over the knee boots can sometimes have a tendency to tip into the trashy department, but with the sweater as well, it’s so chic!
I know we are only 10 days into 2017 so far, but this is definitely my favourite outfit of the year, and with last years celebs in denim articles, I think this is in the top 3 as well. I’m truly in love with it and Hilary has inspired me to get a black denim mini skirt to style with boots too. It’s gorgeous! What about you, has Hilary Duff given you some ideas on a new outfit? Gosh, I still can’t stop staring!
Supermodel, Stella Maxwell, grabbed some drinks to go from a local cafe before meeting up with some girl friends in Los Felix, California. She is rumoured to be dating Kristen Stewart at the moment and if that’s true, I think it’s a great pairing. The couple always look happy when they’re out together and well suited.
Getting to the outfit though, Stella nailed this one, didn’t she? She chose to wear some light wash skinny jeans with a similar washed denim shirt jacket, however she layered her black leather biker jacket over the top for a bold look. I love the edginess that this outfit gives off, not just from the black combat boots, but from the denim poking out of the leather jacket. It’s a look I’ve often loved and encouraged others to try!
What do you think of Stella Maxwell wearing jeans or double denim? We have seen Stella in her Vetements Straight Leg Red Stripe Jeans before and she looked incredible then with her grunge inspired personal style, but I think this outfit of hers has to be my favourite. Who here doesn’t love double denim? I’ve not found anyone yet. Comment and tell us your thoughts!
Singer turned actress, Rihanna, got pictured while leaving Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California after having some dinner with friends. She was working on set of Oceans Eight last year which is set to be released in 2018. I’m definitely intrigued by this movie!
For her dinner out, Rihanna wore a pair of Vintage Levi’s Jeans with a black tuxedo jacket and some patent black booties, finished off with a huge red belt tied around the middle. The belt reminded me of Santa when I first saw it, but as I have looked at the outfit more and more now, it’s an interesting touch.
This isn’t the first time we have seen Rihanna in Levi’s Jeans. She tends to favour the vintage denim from the brand and we spot her out in their jeans quite frequently, but she usually tends to dress them down, not up. How many of you can style up vintage, baggy Levi’s Jeans? I don’t think I could as I often find them too overwhelming for my figure, but I know Rihanna can literally pull off anything.
A new year, a new month, a new round up of the hottest jeans! Yep, it’s time for the editors top denim choices for January, and this one is for women. As there’s so many amazing jeans out at the moment, I found it much too difficult to narrow my picks down to 10 pairs and had to choose 15 instead. I’m even contemplating doing a round up of new and hot jeans every two weeks instead of once a month too, just because I feel like I’m missing out on sharing more denim with you.
So for these 15 pairs of jeans right here, there’s a whole mix of everything. I chose mom jeans, distressed jeans, cropped jeans, raw hems, dark blue, light blue, mid blue, patchwork, velvet, skinny jeans, vintage inspired… the list goes on. There’s truly a pair here for everyone. If I had to pick my personal favourite, it would definitely be the James Jeans velvet burgundy, the Frame and Levi’s patchwork (top right), and the 7 For All Mankind raw hem (top left). I would adore any of these jeans! Which do you like?
